The response and adaptation of microbial communities to salinity in farmland soils: a molecular ecological network analysis

Soil salinity is an increasing problem in farmland soils all over the world. However, it is not fully understood how microbial communities and microbial interactions change across salinity gradients in farmland soils. In this study, we used 16S rRNA Miseq-sequencing technique to investigate the phylogenetic composition, diversity and structure of microbial community under different salinity conditions. Further, the phylogenetic molecular ecological networks analysis was performed to reveal the changes of microbial interactions to salinity.
