The hyperluminous off-center X-ray source 3XMM J215022.4-055108 is the only known off-center tidal disruption event (TDE) harbouring one of the most solid intermediate mass black hole (IMBH) candidates. We request XMM-Newton to continue the long-term monitoring of this unique object in AO20 for 60 ks. The goals are (1) to test whether accreting massive black holes (BHs) exhibit similar spectral states as seen in accreting stellar-mass BHs and (2) to test whether its luminosity continues to follow the standard t^-5/3 decay for TDEs.
