资源简介:
This comparison summarizes primary research on the effects of monochromatic light, particularly specific wavelengths, on axial length and myopia progression in children. Clinical studies of repeated low-level red-light (RLRL) therapy—using long wavelengths (~635–650 nm)—have demonstrated slowed axial elongation, reduced myopia progression, and increased subfoveal choroidal thickness compared with controls over follow-up periods of 6–12 months. The potential mechanisms include modulation of retinal signaling and ocular growth pathways, although evidence on other wavelengths (e.g., blue or violet light) shows more variable effects on axial length.
