These research results concern the concept of applying the Extended Luenberger Observer (ELO) with additional estimation of rotor resistance for the implementation of the current sensor (CS) fault-tolerant control of induction motor drive. Additionally, a modification of the ELO has been implemented to enhance the quality of the stator current estimation, even in the case of a faulty CS. The study investigates the quality of stator current estimation in the absence of faults or in the case of a fault occurring in one of the two CSS.
