Mus musculus Transcriptome or Gene expression

Purpose: Gossypol, a secondary metabolite in Gossypium species, is vital for protecting cotton plants from pests and abiotic stress. It also serves as an important anticancer agent and male contraceptive. However, it is toxic to humans and monogastric animals. In our initial study, we found that gossypol adversely affected blood parameters and histopathology in Mus musculus (mice). Therefore, we have decided to further investigate its effects molecular level through transcriptome analysis.
