资源简介:
Ten years after the onset of the largest yellow fever epidemic in the Americas, the epidemicdynamics of the virus in neotropical primate hosts remains unclear. Using ground and canopylevel entomology, systematic primate carcass surveillance and untargeted metagenomics, wereconstructed a sylvatic YFV outbreak in a 86-ha Atlantic Forest remnant embedded withinSao Paulo metropolis during the 2017-2018 outbreaks. We generated viral genomic data frominfected non-human primate tissues and mosquito pools. The sequencing reads were mapped tothe YFV reference genome to recover viral coding regions and support phylogenetic andevolutionary analyses. This dataset contributes to improved understanding of YFV transmissiondynamics in sylvatic environments and can inform genomic surveillance and outbreak responsestrategies across endemic regions in South America.
