Email as a Communication Medium: A Study of Email in the Workplace, 2000

The purpose of this study was to examine some of the aspects of communicating through communication medium. In this process, the use of e-mail was compared to traditional forms of communication, where the assumption was that this could create a framework for evaluating areas of application. This was based on that e-mail as a communication technology, created a basis for new interactions between people. These interactions differ from traditional modes of communication, but there were also a lot of similarities.
