In 2023, it was estimated that the total planted area for coffee crops in Indonesia was approximately 1.27 thousand hectares. Java, Sumatra and Sulawesi Islands are the three main growing areas in Indonesia. Despite being the world's leading producers of coffee, Indonesia exported most of its produced coffee beans.
