Endeavour East Junction Box Deployed 2022-05-21

The OceanWorks Junction Box JB-14 was deployed on 2022-05-21 at Endeavour East. This station is located to the east of the Endeavour Hydrothermal Vents, and includes instrumentation near the NEPTUNE observatory Endeavour node. This device is a Junction Box. Junction Boxes supply power and communications to deployed instruments. Junction boxes have a number of serial and ethernet ports, including 400V ethernet ports that enable connections to other junction boxes and high-voltage instruments. Junction boxes can convert high voltages to lower voltages (15V, 24V or 48V) required by many instruments. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 3.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.OceanWorks JB-14型接线盒（Junction Box）于2022年5月21日布设于奋进东站位（Endeavour East）。该站位位于奋进热液喷口（Endeavour Hydrothermal Vents）东侧，区域内布设了贴近NEPTUNE观测网奋进节点（NEPTUNE observatory Endeavour node）的观测仪器。本设备为接线盒（Junction Box），主要为布放的观测设备提供电力与通信支持。接线盒配备多种串行与以太网端口，其中包含400V以太网端口，可用于连接其他接线盒与高压观测设备；同时可将高压转换为多数观测设备所需的低压（15V、24V或48V）。该接线盒布设于固定式平台之上。本次布放产生的相关数据已完成归档，并通过加拿大海洋网络（Ocean Networks Canada）的Oceans 3.0数字基础设施对外共享，其质量管控与衍生数据产品均遵循既定行业规范。
