Novel air mattress reduces interface pressure in neonatal and pediatric patients: a randomized controlled clinical trial

This dataset originates from a randomized crossover study comparing a novel air mattress with a conventional foam mattress in neonates at risk of pressure injuries. High-resolution interface pressure measurements were collected at the head and torso regions over 60 minutes at five time points. Data include raw pressure maps, top 2% and 25% pressure values, and exponential regression analyses of temporal changes in interface pressure, demonstrating significantly lower and less variable pressures on the air mattress.
