Species Documentation: Bamboo Tiger Longhorn Beetle (Chlorophorus annularis Fabricius, 1787) — An Urban Observation from Bangladesh.

The specimen was observed alive approximately two months ago in a residential house situated in an urban area. It was found resting on a cut bamboo culm stored in a semi-covered shed used for household construction materials. The beetle was an adult, measuring approximately 15 mm in length, with characteristic black and yellow banding across the elytra. No visible external injuries were observed, and the cause of death was not applicable as the specimen was alive at the time of observation. The environmental conditions were typical for an urban setting, with no apparent stressors noted. This observation adds to the understanding of the species’ adaptability to urban microhabitats and its association with stored bamboo materials.
