Ancient_DNA_sequencing_of_samples_from_Pathagonia_and_Tierra_del_Fuego

In this study we sequence the whole genomes of 5 ancient DNA samples from skeletons excavated in Pathagonia and Tierra del Fuego in Argentina and Chile. One sample was carbon-dated to 4,500 years old, others are of unknown age. All samples are from before the reported first contact of European immigrants in the 19th and 20th century. DNA was extracted and libraries generated at Clean room facilities in Cambridge university. We sequence the whole genomes of these individuals to gain understanding on population and migration history in South America.
