Soil samples from three sites (Permafrost, Moraine, Deschampsia antarctica Rhizosphere) were collected on King George Island, near Ecology Glacier and the Henryk Arctowski Polish Antarctic Station, during the 58th Scientific Antarctic Expedition (ECA58). The microbial diversity of the samples was analyzed through metabarcoding targeting Bacteria, Archaea, and Fungi.
