中国农村居民点用地整理潜力遥感监测时空数据集包括1980年代末、1995年、2000年、2005年、2010年、2015年和2020年的中国农村居民点用地整治限制因素法近期潜力、远期潜力1KM栅格成数数据；半城镇化、分批城镇化、完全城镇化等情景下的基于综合指标法的中国农村居民点用地整治潜力1KM栅格成数数据。开展土地整理潜力分析是我国土地整理规划程序中的重要步骤，属于前期的资料调查和分析工作。科学、合理地估算中国农村居民点用地整理新增的耕地面积，以及能够避免的城乡建设用地扩张占用的耕地面积，可以为国家的农村农民工作战略部署，开展农村居民点用地整理工作提供决策依据。

Spatio-temporal Dataset of Rural Residential Land Consolidation Potential Remote Sensing Monitoring in China includes 1-kilometer grid proportion data of recent and long-term potential of rural residential land consolidation in China calculated via the limiting factor method, covering the late 1980s, 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015 and 2020; it also contains 1-kilometer grid proportion data of rural residential land consolidation potential in China based on the comprehensive indicator method under scenarios such as semi-urbanization, phased urbanization and full urbanization. Conducting land consolidation potential analysis is a critical step in China's land consolidation planning process, which falls under the preliminary data investigation and analysis work. Scientific and reasonable estimation of the newly added cultivated land area resulting from rural residential land consolidation in China, as well as the cultivated land area that can be spared from occupation by urban-rural construction land expansion, can provide decision-making support for the country's strategic deployment of rural and farmer-related work and the implementation of rural residential land consolidation initiatives.
