Open Innovation Practices for Sustainable and Resilient Tourism Development in ASEAN

This dataset contains survey data collected from 420 tourism enterprises across ten ASEAN countries, including Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, the Philippines, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, and Brunei. The data were gathered to examine how different forms of innovation and collaboration influence sustainable and resilient tourism development. The dataset includes measures of five key innovation practices: crowdsourced innovation, public-private partnerships, digital co-creation platforms, sustainable technology integration, and community-based innovation. It also includes variables capturing tourism innovation outcomes, government policy support, and overall sustainable and resilient tourism performance. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire with Likert-scale items completed by business owners, senior executives, and managers involved in strategic decision-making within tourism organisations.
