Full-wave far-field and BRDF data for geometry-aware reconstruction of rough convex surfaces

This dataset supports the manuscript "Geometry-aware reconstruction of infrared directional reflectance for rough convex surfaces from planar full-wave scattering data." It contains 30 planar BRDF HDF5 datasets derived from p-polarized COMSOL full-wave far-field calculations at wavelengths of 3, 4, and 5 μm, covering RMS roughnesses of 0.5, 1, and 2 μm and ten independent rough-surface realizations per RMS value. Each HDF5 file preserves the sampled far-field electric-field magnitude, BRDF data, angular coordinates, normalization quantities, and provenance information. The deposit also contains source data underlying the manuscript figures and tables, a modified Beckmann–Kirchhoff benchmark, reproducibility scripts, metadata, and integrity manifests.
