IMPLEMENT-CVD Health system factors affecting implementation of fixed-dose combination therapy for hypertension in Kenya: Patient and Caregiver interview transcripts

The IMPLEMENT-CVD research project investigated health system factors affecting implementation of fixed-dose combination therapy for hypertension in Kenya. This dataset contains de-identified transcripts of interviews conducted with patients receiving care for hypertension at government health facilities in Kiambu County, Kenya (24 transcripts) and family caregivers (6 transcripts) during 2022-2023. Broad themes covered include knowledge of hypertension/CVD, experience of being diagnosed with the condition, experience of (self-)management of the condition, and interactions with health care providers.
