In-situ modified polyamide 6 nanofibers for spin-filter solid phase extraction: Effect of azo dye coating on extraction efficiency

In the manuscript, we described the use of modified polyamide 6 nanofibers as sorbents for spin-filter solid-phase extraction (SF-SPE) of organic compounds. Surface modification of nanofibers with sulfonated azo dyes was identified as a key factor governing sorbent performance, leading to significantly enhanced extraction efficiency compared to native and uncoated materials, particularly for phenolic acids, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, and neutral compounds.
