Tide Gauge Records 1996-1997, Stillwell Hills, Australian Antarctic Territory

Tides were measured using a portable pressure transducer secured just below low water line. A 30 day record was obtained.Numerous manual water level measurements were made to connect the tide gauge to the local benchmark.From these observations a local mean sea level was obtained. Documentation dated 2001-03-07Beaver Lake and the Stillwell HillsIn Dec 1996 - Jan 1997 a temporary pressure type tide gauge was deployed at Beaver Lake and the Stillwell Hills in open water.Timed water level measurements were made over this period.From these data a value for MSL was found for Beaver Lake and the Stillwell Hills.

采用固定于最低潮线下的便携式压力传感器（portable pressure transducer）开展潮汐观测，获取了为期30天的连续观测记录。通过开展多组人工水位测量，将该潮位计（tide gauge）与当地水准基点（benchmark）进行联测，基于上述观测数据求得当地平均海平面（mean sea level）。相关文档落款日期为2001年3月7日，研究区域为海狸湖（Beaver Lake）与斯迪尔韦尔山（Stillwell Hills）。
1996年12月至1997年1月期间，科研人员在海狸湖与斯迪尔韦尔山的开阔水域布设了临时压力式潮位计，并在此周期内开展定时水位测量工作。基于上述观测数据集，得到了该区域的平均海平面（MSL）数值。
