Phytoplankton taxonomy in Lake Nokoue, Benin, 2023-2024

This dataset documents phytoplankton communities and their environmental context in Lake Nokoué, Bénin. Monthly samples were collected at twenty sites across the lagoon from June 2023 to May 2024. Collected and analyzed parameters include : Physics : temperature, salinity, conductivity, suspended solids. Chemistry : pH,dissolved oxygen, nutrients (nitrate, nitrite, ammonia, phosphate), and chlorophyll a. Biology : Phytoplankton abundances, up to species level.
