S_ungulates_abundance_demography_coastal_areas_summer

Two datasets consisting of the annual census of the Svalbard reindeer population in Brøggerhalvøya, Sarsøyra and Kaffiøyra to estimate population abundance and demography. The fieldwork was conducted in July/August each year. The first dataset contains the years 2000-2011 and the other dataset contains the years 2012-2024 in separate files (annual census was not conducted in 2013 so this file is missing). For the summary dataset 2000-2011, only the year is given, not the date.

The dataset includes two types of files:

One data file per year (_YEAR.txt)
One readme file with additional information (_readme.pdf)

The dataset is under embargo, with new datasets uploaded on December 31st, two years after being collected. Older versions of the dataset are publicly available for download.
