We developed a target adjustable nano-pesticide, CS-dsRNA-luvangetin, based on luvangetin and RNAi, for efficient and eco-friendly control of S. sclerotiorum. The active ingredient luvangetin in the CS-dsRNA-luvangetin nano-pesticide possesses broad-spectrum antifungal activity. Specific dsRNA target genes designed according to particular pathogens trigger RNA interference, while the CS nanoshell induces systemic acquired resistance. These components interact synergistically to improve stability and enhance antimicrobial efficacy. This innovative nano-pesticide offers a promising solution to address the excessive use of chemical pesticides and has broad application prospects.
