A Dataset of community-level education percentile rank estimation in China

The predicted community-level education percentile rank dataset for 2020 is stored as a GeoTIFF (.tif) file with the WGS84 projection. Our dataset comprises 120,301 communities, covering 97.9% of prefecture-level administrative units and 81.8% of county-level administrative units in China. Both the national and provincial versions are available to download. We also publish a simplified table version (.xlsx) showing the mean education percentile rank of residents in each community. This table includes the community's name, the latitude and longitude of its centroid, the names of the county-, prefecture- and province-level administrative units in which it is located, and its education percentile rank.
