Active Touch-Based Behavioral Data

DAC is a behavioral authentication system, aimed at mobile devices with small screens and employs sensors of the device to measure feature values. DAC has an interaction module that is reached by a touch screen and a data acquisition module, which is an Android App, captures the sensor measurements of the users\u2019 responses to the challenges. The verification module on the verifier side processes and measure the distance between verification data and the claimed stored profile to take the decision.  All challenges in DAC is in the form of \u201cclues\u201d to a user to draw a circle. The user response is a circle that is used to generate a vector of feature values. A sequence of multiple responses of a user u is formed a BA profile. All features of DAC are grouped into (i) user errors, (ii) features related to the user\u2019s physical characteristics (e.g., touch size), and drawing characteristics (e.g., speed of drawing), and (iii) users\u2019 memorization abilities. Features such as the speed of drawing are related to users\u2019 unconscious behavior. Touch size and touch pressure are primarily related to the physical characteristics of the user.
