NRS-17141 | Trust Account Ledger

This is a trust account ledger for the Aborigines Protection Board trust account. It covers the time period during which the agency changed from being the Aborigines Protection Board to the Aborigines Welfare Board. It records money issued from trust accounts to individuals, companies and government bodies. Information provided includes claimant, voucher and cheque number. It is also noted how the payment was delivered and who the cheque was delivered to if it was not the claimant (eg OIC [Officer in Charge] Police Collarenebri).The entries are divided into family endowment accounts and apprentice accounts for each month. There is also a monthly reconciliation statement providing a summary of ledger balances and a list of unpresented cheques.Some of the individuals from this volume also appear in NRS 15 Ledgers (Trust Account) and NRS 20 Salary Registers (Trust Accounts).It is not known when this volume came into the custody of State Records.
