ALLBUS/GGSS 2008 (Allgemeine Bevölkerungsumfrage der Sozialwissenschaften/German General Social Survey 2008): Open answers to the question on associations with the terms “left” and “right”

This data set documents the answers to the open questions on associations with the terms ´left´ and ´right´ (F029 and F030) that were part of the interview for ALLBUS 2008 (ZA4600). The two questions followed the self-placement on a left-right-continuum (F028/V106). The sequence of the two questions was randomized during the interview. This data set works as a supplement to the regular ALLBUS 2008 data. Together with the main data set it offers enhanced possibilities of analysis.
