资源简介:
Annona cherimola (cherimoya, Ach), a species of the Annonaceae family within the magnoliid clade, is known for its delicious fruit and valuable bioactive compounds used in traditional medicines. To explore the genomic diversity in the Annona genus and understand its phylogenetic position within magnoliids, we have generated the first chromosome-level genome assembly of cherimoya. The genome assembly has a size of 794 Mb and consists of 1,377 scaffolds with a N50 = 97.59 Mb. The seven longest scaffolds account for 87.6% of the total genome length, and thus correspond to the seven pseudo-chromosomes. The repeat sequences make up 68.23% of the genome, in which LTR retrotransposons are the most abundant (25.49%). A total of 45,272 protein-coding genes (>=30 aa) are predicted with 92.9% BUSCO gene content completeness.
