Location of pontocerebellar neurons projecting to tactile regions in the rat cerebellar hemispheres

3D reconstructed point coordinate data representing the spatial location of the somata of pontine neurons projecting to tactile regions in the cerebellar hemisphere, labelled after focal or widespread retrograde tracer injection into tactile representations in the crown of crus IIa. The data show that the somata of pontine neurons projecting to crus IIa are located centrally in the pontine nuclei, primarily contralateral to the injected side.
