Data set of subset of fiber optic measurements at Ruapehu volcano, New Zealand. Each .zip files contains catalog earthquakes events for that day (dates in format YYYY-MM-DD and times are in UTC). Data is recorded using an existing telecommunications cable deployed on the ground surface. The data provided are sampled at 50 Hz and 14 evenly spaced channels are uploaded, out of the 333 channels that were recorded. The channel spacing is 6.38 m. The channel number starts at 0 at the interrogator.
