Limited future carbon sink in China as forests become mature

This dataset includes calibrated PFT maps, LUC and wood harvest forcing data used in the simulations, as well as the source data for the figures in the main text. Due to the difference in future afforestation scenarios, forcing datasets are divided into two periods, one for historical period and the other for future period. There is no change in the PFT maps after 2061. Historical LUC data includes two parts (net change fraction and land turnover fraction) and the year 1701 represents the change during 1700-1701, while future period only provide net change information. We provided wood harvest data used in the historical S2 and S3 (Sage) simulations, and in the future S0, S1, S2 and S3 simulations.本数据集包含模拟实验中使用的校准后植被功能型（Plant Functional Type, PFT）地图、土地利用变化（Land Use Change, LUC）与木材采伐强迫数据，以及正文中所有图表的源数据。鉴于未来造林情景存在差异，本数据集的强迫数据分为两个时段：历史时期与未来时期，且2061年后的植被功能型地图无变更。历史土地利用变化数据包含两部分：净变化占比与土地周转占比，其中1701年代表1700-1701年间的土地变化；未来时期仅提供净变化相关信息。本数据集同时提供了历史时期S2、S3（Sage）模拟实验，以及未来时期S0、S1、S2、S3模拟实验中所使用的木材采伐数据。
