Musa Awwad Jadallah (92 years old from Tuqu') interviewed by Yasmin Abu Mufareh on 9 July 2005. He discusses the following: locust plague and how they got rid of locusts by digging holes and burning them inside, as well as through the use of pesticides; poverty caused by the drought of 1916; people used to grind barley to make wheat; the spread of diseases, especially cholera which killed his father and affected his wife. Original audio recording: cassette tape. Transcript: word for word. In the original collection at Bethlehem University this cassette tape was categorised as File 8 of Box 12. This fileset exists as part of the Ottoman Empire and World War I collection within the Bethlehem University Oral History project of the Planet Bethlehem Archive.
