WATER TEMPERATURE and other data from VREELAND in the TOGA Area - Atlantic from 1990-08-07 to 1990-08-18 (NODC Accession 9000221)

The data in this accession was collected in TOGA Area - Atlantic over twelve days from Ship Vreeland between August 7-18, 1990. The real time data of water temperature at varying depth bathythermograph (XBT) was recorded in six stripcharts by the US Navy. These stripcharts and radio logs were submitted to NODC. The XBT data from these stripcharts have been digitized and is present in the current NODC data storage system in C116 file format.本次入藏的数据集的数据于1990年8月7日至18日期间，在大西洋TOGA区域由弗里兰号调查船历时十二天采集完成。美国海军通过六台长条纸带记录仪，记录了由变深式海水测温仪（XBT）采集的各深度实时海水温度数据。上述长条纸带记录仪与无线电通信日志已提交至美国国家海洋数据中心（National Oceanographic Data Center, NODC）。从这些记录仪中提取的XBT数据已完成数字化处理，目前以C116文件格式存储于该中心的现有数据存储系统中。
