资源简介:
Supplemental appendices (Appendix 1, Appendix 4, and appendix 5) from theRiordan and Rundel (2019) report entitled "Evaluating the Future Role of the University of California Natural Reserve System for Sensitive Plant Protection under Climate Change." Appendix 1 is an excel workbook that contains a list of all sensitive vascular plant taxa observed or recorded on University of California Natural Reserve System reserves as well as sources for reserve observations. Appendix 4 contains detailed species information and species distribution model results for the 180 plant species modeled in the report. These are species that have suitable habitat under baseline (1970-2000) and/or future (2070-2099) climate on one or more of the following six focal reserves: Boyd Deep Canyon Desert Research Center, Jepson Prairie Reserve, Landels-Hill Big Creek Reserve, McLaughlin Natural Reserve, Sagehen Creek Field Station, and Sedgwick reserve. Appendix 5 contains habitat maps (baseline and future) for each of the 180 modeled plant species. Conservation status and taxonomy of rare plants follow the California Native Plant Society (CNPS) Inventory of Rare and Endangered Plants (http://www.rareplants.cnps.org/) as of September 30, 2018. For the most up-to-date information visit the rare plant inventory website.
