To explore the influence of mating and fertilizing behaviors on the occurrence of Chinese cordyceps, the bacterial and fungal diversities of fertilized Thitarodes eggs collected from 3 sampling sites with different occurrence rates of Chinese cordyceps (Sites A, B and C: high, low and null Chinese cordyceps, respectively) were analyzed by performing 16S rRNA and ITS sequencing, respectively.
