The complete mitochondrial genome of Metapenaeopsis lamellata

The goal of this project is to generate full mitochondrial genomes from across the Metapenaeopsis lamellata. Through these generated mitogenomes the project aims to better understand intraspecific genetic diversity within Metapenaeopsis lamellata, especially interesting from a conservation perspective. We also will analyse a large dataset of samples from across the Metapenaeopsis lamellata species complex range, to better understand (proposed) taxonomy, biogeography among others
