Neural signals can significantly influence the prognosis of various cancer types.. RNAseq analysis of tumor cells treated by NE, NE treatment enhanced multiple proliferation-related genes, such as Mcm5, Ddx3x and Cdc25a. Meanwhile, NE treatment down-regulated plenty of death-related genes, such as Bcl2l11, Casp3 and Cflar. cancer-derived leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF) and galectin-3 (Gal3) as the key factors that activate efferent sympathetic signals. Further, we demonstrate that such tumor cell-triggered sympatheticsignals dampen anticancer immunity, and enhance the tumor proliferating rate.
