Pressure, temperature, and other data were collected from fixed platforms in the Gulf of Alaska, Gulf of Mexico, Bering Sea, North Atlantic Ocean, North Pacific Ocean, Coastal Waters of SE Alaska, Coastal Waters of Western U.S., Great Lakes, North American Coastline-North, and North American Coastline-South from October 1, 2002 to October 31, 2002. Data were submitted by National Data Buoy Center using meteorological sensors, moored buoys, thermistors, and accelerometers.
