资源简介:
Contains draft whole genome sequencing data of plasmid DNA acquired from third generation cephalosporin resistant Escherichia coli strains collected from healthy broiler chickens in Japan between 2002 and 2014. Third generation cephalosporin used for bacterial infectious diseases as therapeutic agents in human medicines are categorized as critically important antibiotics by WHO CMY-2 is able to hydrolyze third generation cephalosporin. The gene encoding CMY-2 (blaCMY-2) is generally mobilized onto transferable plasmid of different replicon types. blaCMY-2-positive plasmids is spread among bacterial strains in broiler in the world. The aim of this project is to investigate the epidemiology of the distribution and molecular characteristics of blaCMY-2 encoding plasmids among the healthy broiler in Japan, and to clarify how those linked to blaCMY-2 encoding plasmids in global public data by using comparing analysis method.
