MR23-05C X-band radar wave analysis

X-band radar wave analysis system (NJZ-1882), produced by Japan Radio Co. Ltd., was installed at the bridge to obtain a continuous and detailed wave data along the ship trajectory. The signal from X-band radarinstalled in R/V Mirai is used for the wave analysis. Bulk wave parameters such as significant wave height, wave period, wave lengeth, and wave direction were calculated and recorded.X波段雷达波分析系统（X-band radar wave analysis system，型号NJZ-1882）由日本无线电有限公司（Japan Radio Co. Ltd.）制造，安装于舰桥以采集船舶航行轨迹沿线连续且详尽的海浪数据。搭载于未来号科考船（R/V Mirai）的X波段雷达（X-band radar）所获取的信号被用于本次海浪分析，研究人员计算并记录了有效波高（significant wave height）、波周期（wave period）、波长（wave length）以及波向（wave direction）等整体海浪参数（bulk wave parameters）。
