Anfinsen extended his overall thesis to address recent concerns over scientific "fraud," and called for some leeway for "premature incorrect conclusions." The original article, "Studies on the Structural Basis of Ribonuclease Activity," appeared in "Biochimica et Biophysica Acta" 17 (1955): 141-142, by Christian B. Anfinsen, W. F.
