QAAFI proximal sensing

This proximal sensing project captures large amounts of field data from UAV's (drones) and a mobile sensing platform ('the gecko'). Project staff are stationed at a number of geographically dispersed locations (St Lucia, Hermitage Research Station, and DAF Toowoomba laboratories). The data from field campaigns is expensive to collect, and needs to be managed so that it is (1) securely stored and (2) accessible to the project team and affiliates. The data is expected to have value for many years.

本近地传感（proximal sensing）项目采集了大量源自无人机（UAV）及名为“‘壁虎’（Gecko）”的移动传感平台的野外数据。项目团队驻守于多个地理分散的站点，包括圣卢西亚、赫米蒂奇研究站以及澳大利亚农业与渔业部（DAF）图翁巴实验室。野外作业采集的数据获取成本高昂，因此需对其进行规范化管理，以满足两项核心要求：一是实现安全存储，二是确保项目团队及合作关联方能够便捷访问。预计该数据将在长期范围内保有应用价值。
