Note on data categorisation in the infographic: quantification: MS were counted as 1 irrespective of the amount of notifications issued by a country per year colour code categorisation: in case of MSs that introduced border-control for more then one reason in the same year, the most frequent reason in the case of multiple notifications or the most prominemt reason in the case of a notification with plural justifications was used to determine categorical affiliation.
