Thematic Analysis Comparing Stressors for Pediatric Residents and Fellows at a Large Children’s Hospital

This is data from a single question cross-sectional survey that was distributed to pediatric residents and subspecialty fellows at Nationwide Children's Hospital. The purpose was for study participants to self-report stressors they face in residency and fellowship training. Data was collected from July to August 2020 for residents and February to March 2021 for fellows, each over a three-week period. Trainees were recruited via email and the survey was distributed via online survey software, either SurveyMonkey for the residents or Google Forms for the fellows. This was approved by the Nationwide Children's Hospital IRB in STUDY00001270 and STUDY00001983. Because there was minimal risk to the survey with no identifying information, in order to encourage participation, implicit consent was used.
