State Election 2014: Northern Metropolitan Region results summary

A recheck is a normal procedure undertaken by an election manager. After the first count of preferences all ballot papers are re-examined and counted again. Scrutineers are entitled to be present and should be aware of any corrected figures. This term should not be confused with the term recount. For an Upper House Region rechecks are conducted on all first preferences cast for each group above the line and the total first preferences cast for candidates within the group below the line. The data is presented by District and further broken down by Voting Centre or vote type

重新核查（recheck）是选举管理人员执行的常规流程。在首轮偏好票数统计完成后，需对所有选票进行重新核验并再次计票。监票员有权列席监督，且应知晓所有更正后的统计数据。该术语不可与重新计票（recount）相混淆。针对上议院选区，需对每个线上组的全部首轮偏好票数，以及该线下组内候选人的总首轮偏好票数开展重新核查工作。本数据按选区进行分类呈现，并可进一步按投票中心或投票类型细分。
