In order to investigate the physiological role of YY1 during pancreatic beta-cell development and its regulatory mechanism in beta-cell function, we performed integrative transcriptome-, genome-, and epigenome-wide analyses through RNA-sequencing (RNA-seq) and chromatin immunoprecipitation assays with sequencing (ChIP-seq) on islets purified from Pdx1CreERT/1;Yy1fl/fl (cKO) and Yy1fl/fl (control) mice.
