资源简介:
In late April 2005, the Institute of Oceanography of the Chinese Academy of Sciences deployed a mooring in the northern South China Sea and the east of Hainan Island (112.0 °E, 19.6 °N). The mooring was equipped with a 300 kHz RDI acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP). The ADCP is located in the main floating body in the upper part of the submarine buoy, with a downward looking direction, that is, the velocity of sea water is observed from top to bottom. The time resolution of velocity data is 1 hour, and the duration is from April 17, 2005 to September 30, 2005. The vertical resolution of velocity data is 2 m, and the vertical range is from 4 m to 114 m. The data files u.txt and v.txt represent the zonal and meridional velocity respectively, and the unit of velocity is meters per second. The row of the data represent time, the first row is the start time, the last row is the end time; the column of the data represents vertical water depth, the first column is water depth 4m layer, and the last column is water depth 114 m layer.
