Colonization of Germ-free Mice with Fecal Samples from Malaria-resistant and -susceptible Malian Children

Fecal samples from germ-free mice colonized with pre-malaria transmission season fecal samples from children that were resistant or susceptible to the development of febrile symptoms following Plasmodium infection during the transmission season. 16S rRNA sequencing was performed to examine the relationship between malaria susceptibility and the gut microbiome.
