Challenges and Barriers to Pressure Injury Management in Home Care: A Scoping Review

Pressure ulcers (PUs) are common in frail or bed-ridden older people and are associated with increased mortality and decreased quality of life. Recently, the home-acquired PU is becoming one of the serious problems as the number of older patients receiving home care was increasing. Accordingly, this scoping review explored the types of published evidence available on challenges and barriers to PI management in home care.
