Genome sequencing of cefiderocol-low-susceptible Achromobacter spp. and Burkholderia spp. isolates

In this project, whole-genome sequencing was conducted on clinical isolates of Achromobacter spp. and Burkholderia spp. with a cefiderocol MIC of 16 micrograms/mL or higher. The goal was to investigate factors contributing to the reduced susceptibility to cefiderocol, such as beta-lactamase.
