To examine the extent of environmental influences on the cellular properties of neural precursor cells (NPCs), in vitro-expanded NPCs were engrafted into injured spinal cord. At 7 days after transplantation, engrafted cells were selectively isolated by cell sorter and RNA was prepared from FACS-purified NPCs. Then ultra-high throughput mRNA sequencing on NPCs was conducted.
